Former TSMC Director Dr. David Su Joins QD as Business Angel and Advisor

Munich, Germany – November 22nd, 2024 – QuantumDiamonds is pleased to announce that Dr. David Su, a former leader of TSMC’s failure analysis (FA) team, has joined the company as an advisor. 

Over his 18-year tenure at TSMC, the world’s largest semiconductor foundry and a key manufacturing partner for companies like NVIDIA, AMD, and Qualcomm, Dr. Su spearheaded efforts to enhance failure analysis, materials characterization, and chemical analysis. His leadership contributed to significant advancements in methodologies that have strengthened the quality and reliability of semiconductors. 

Dr. Su brings a deep understanding of the challenges in failure and materials analysis, and his expertise will support QuantumDiamonds in advancing its quantum sensing technology. These solutions are designed to improve defect detection and current mapping in semiconductor manufacturing, addressing critical industry needs.
